The soil in this part of Vanderburgh County has a high clay content, which expands when wet and contracts during dry spells. That movement can cause sections of sewer pipe to settle unevenly, creating low spots where waste collects and eventually blocks the line.
We fix settled lines by either replacing the affected section or, in some cases, using trenchless methods to install a new pipe within the existing one.
